For all those that do UW Speedclears Know that pugs usually take an N/Rt, this build is just an alternative over the necro and a good chance for those monk fans that wanna do UW

[build prof=Monk/Mesmer][Auspicious Incantation][Arcane Echo][Ray of Judgment][Great Dwarf Weapon]["By Ural's Hammer!"][Shield of Absorption][Dwayna's Kiss][Resurrection Chant][/build]

Attributes:

3+1 Divine Favor
6 Inspiration
9 Protection Prayers
9 Healing Prayers
11+1+3 Smiting Prayers

40/40 Smiting Set
High Hp Set (I use shield and sword/spear normally)

Screenshot Of the test run:

certainly does work i remember having a rather pointless argument about a UWSC once with a friend. He insisted i went necro >.>

anyway from the look of this it will work well! and nothing beats blasting undead rioting dudes with a big beam o light!

thanks for posting!

So how do you beat the groups of aataxes on your way to Vale? Rumor has it that RoJ causes them to come after you

Nevermind

RoJ as far as I know doesn't cause scatter, hence why it's used alot in VSF. If the Assassin has lower armour than the Monk they should not break away from the Assassin.

I don't think that's the reason...Assassin = 70, Monk = 60

I'd just like to point out,our first actual clear we had a time of 21 mins, but this can quite obviously be reduced, for example,I'm not pro at vale and need to get better. I'd post up a screenshot if I'd thought to take one.

After talking to C H O K E Y I realized something...

I run a whole lotta Vale sin, and I don't ever need any heals besides the regen/heal I get from Refuge...as such, I'd argue that those three heals are mis-placed and should be more damage-oriented (since N/Rt's don't offer any heals either)

I'm gonna argue that you can just use Vigorous Spirit as a nice little heal booster, so here's what I came up with:

Old Build
[build prof=Monk/Mesmer][Auspicious Incantation][Arcane Echo][Ray of Judgment][Great Dwarf Weapon]["By Ural's Hammer!"][Shield of Absorption][Dwayna's Kiss][Resurrection Chant][/build]
Smiter Variant
[build prof=Mo/Me smit=12+1+3 heal=10 div=2+1 insp=8][Auspicious Incantation][Arcane Echo][Ray of Judgment][Great Dwarf Weapon]["By Ural's Hammer!"][Judge's Insight][Vigorous Spirit][Strength of Honor][/build]

Big damage boost and more than enough of a heal through Vigorous. Comments?

And btw guys, tell Snow Bunny "Without Any Mercy" said Hey

I'm hoping that never happens, but for the moment its here, gotta make the best out of it

@ Truegen: I like your variant, personally I'd leave Judge's Insight off the bar and keep the ress.

Myself and a few allies ran a full RoJ team with 2 Permas for Plains through UW. Worked like a charm.

Disco Ball of Doom sez "o HAI!" to anything that gets in your way. In HM, RoJ causes scatter .

If RoJ causes scatter in HM, would you mind explaining how we didn't get any scatter with two RoJs hitting at the same time? Either it doesn't cause scatter or I'm pro at bodyblocking. I'm willing to eat my words, but I generally block foes against walls when I vale, for paranoias sake.

I've seen RoJ ruin a uwsc run before. It was in the labyrinth and the attxes scattered right into the lab reaper and killed it. It looks as though the valer will have to block his enemies up against walls for this to work reliably.

It doesn't take more than a few seconds to bodyblock, so long as you know how to do it.We'll probably write out a basic guide with pictures at some point.
